Good shit. I seem another dude ride it on the beach and said it wasn't good for off road. I've never seen a trail made out of sand. I really wish they made it closer to 1500 though. Maybe in the off season.
I believe you are incorrect on tire size....it comes with a 27.5 x 2.4 inch tire not a 26 inch
Very detailed and thorough review! Thanks Rider Guide
Love the delivery of this video! Great content. And pretty sweet lookin bike!
This is awesome. Thank you
Looks Like an awesome bike! Great Review
Have you ridden the mokwheel asphalt or aventon pace 500.3? Wondering how this one compares? I didn’t like the torque on the pace but I did like the mokwheel one and wondering if the torque on this bike is more like the mokwheel or aventon?
Thank you for your review. I know exactly where you were riding as it is one of my routes! Velotric is definitely on my radar now.
Looks Great!
It will be interesting to see some comparisons on performance between this and the recently announced Rad Power Radster Road. Close in price, but interesting differentiators like the Radster having a claimed higher torque for it's motor, but that the Velotric has the lower frame weight and price of the two, and higher weight and rack capacity. Side note: Whenever I've seen an Altus derailleur(anecdotally) they've been 8 gears to better differentiate from the Tourney. Glad to see more bikes have been moving to the Altus over the past year or two though. It always felt like the choice of Tourney was really cutting corners on the bike side of an e-bike.
This! This (including the larger frame) is what I wanted when I bought the Discover 1. I may need to upgrade.
I'm torn between this one and the Summit 1. Does the Discover 2 feel stable on the gravel with the road tires?
Thank for the video. I'm still waiting for my bike order to come in. I live in Vegas also. What park was that with the gravel path?
just bought a discover 1... gah why no heads up on this @velotric??!?!
Yeah but looking at their order page it looks too me some features showed here don't come standard. ie: The turn signal doesn't come standard on the 2, you have to order it separate adding to the price.
Very well built
Wow! Similar features to Rad's new Radster eBikes. Wish there was a Velotric dealer near my home in Western Canada so I can test ride. Great review. Thanks!
How does it compare to the new Segway ebike?
Thank you for the review. Do you know if Ortlieb panniers will fit it's rack? Velotric Discover 2
