I can't believe this video is free, this is EXACTLY what I was looking for!

@kathysharp7551

I can totally vouch for the 12 weeks of adapolene. Around week 10 or 11 I was so frustrated and worried that maybe adapolene was making things worse. Then, around week 12 I hit skin nirvana. It was amazing. Much less acne now than before I started :-)

@cringedelusionist

April 16, 2023 - Just got the products mentioned! I will use and update at least every 2 weeks :)

April 30, 2023 - yess I can tell the products are working!! My break outs have gotten better and the La Roche Posay cleanser she mentioned helped me to realize I had dry skin (originally I thought I had normal skin on my cheeks). My acne is not completely gone but I can tell it’s getting better

May 17, 2023 - it looks like my acne is no more!!! Though there is still a teeny bit more small bumps on my skin to deal with, and A LOT of hyperpigmentation to deal with 😭 but this stuff works yall!!

FINAL UPDATE 6/20/2023 - ok so after 2 whole months of treatment, I think it is safe to say that I have my acne under control. Currently I have no blemishes on my skin but OMG is the hyperpigmentation huge. Dark red spots on my forehead EVERYWHERE and some under my eyes.

So here are my reviews on the products:

La Roche Posay Purifying Cleanser - worked great as a cleanser!! Foams up nicely and never, NEVER, left my skin feeling stripped. I def recommend for oily to combo skin (I had combo skin)

Paula’s Choice Daily Skin Clearing Treatment - I think this worked ok to prevent blemishes.

Differin Adapalene Gel - this was def the powerhouse to clearing my acne! Somehow, I could even feel that it was working when i applied it!! Though I must say, I had to use more than I think was necessary to be able to apply to my affected areas (entire forehead, spot next to nose below eyes, chin)

La Roche Posay Double Repair Face Moisturizer - I think this worked great! I def felt like my skin was moisturized enough after using this. Tho one thing, I felt like I had to use more product than necessary to apply to my whole face. But that’s okay I suppose. Tip tho, apply to damp skin, it helps absorb into skin better.

Australian Gold Botanical Sunscreen - I’m not even joking, I hated this sunscreen. Applying it felt so much like a chore bc of how how it was to apply evenly to my skin. Also, even tho I got it in the tint my skin was in, it felt like my whole complexion was messed up after using this. Actually, it got so bad that the first time I applied this, I was so freaked out by how I looked after I reapplied it that I had to cleanse it off bc of how much I hated how it looked on my face… also it kind of pills if I reapply it (in my experience), this sunscreen was def the worst part of the routine.

FINAL THOUGHTS!!

I think this was definitely a great routine for my first introduction to skin care! After 2 months, all of my pimples are gone (kinda, bc I have acne-prone skin). I overall liked this routine (except the sunscreen, which was kinda a ick) and it worked to clear my acne.

Side note: I do observe that if I even miss one day of my routine a new pimple will appear, which im assuming is bc I have acne prone skin.

Also, I’d like to add that I also incorporated a double cleansing method to completely remove the sunscreen recommended in the video. For those who might want to know, I used Pond’s cold cream bc it was the only thing I could find at family dollar 😭

And I def recommend investing in a little hand bands (idk what it’s called) bc when I cleanser my face, THERE WAS WATER EVERYWHEREEEEE and dripping down my arms every millisecond!!

I have a preteen and have searched high and low for this type of advice, as a simple place to start as we start getting breakouts! Thank you so much!

@orrwahawija3774

Your skincare routine is giving me major inspiration to finally take my skin seriously!

@aly6015

THIS WORKS NO JOKE!!! I had been struggling with acne for 6 years, and was getting pretty sick of it tbh. So i looked this video up for help about 7 months ago. I got variants of the products she recommended. Face wash: panoxyl; Toner: Byoma; Adeline; Differn Adapeline 10% gel; Moisturizer; Byoma gel. It all look about two months to work, so in the meantime I used lots of pimple patches. Anyway, thank you so much for this video, my skin is SO CLEAR NOW!!!

@romey2real

i’m starting this today i’ll let y’all know if it fr works

edit 8/13: i started this like beginning of august and it’s making my skin really dry but i started using the adapalene everyday along with the paula’s choice product so i’m starting to slow down on the adapalene and i’m gonna use it once every two days and i’ll let y’all know if it gets better

edit 8/15: so this morning after my moisturizer i put on the sunscreen along with some olay lotion that has 15 spf in it and it really helped with the dryness my skin still feels a little tight but definitely not as tight and still gets a little flaky but it’s a LOT more manageable now definitely recommend if ur skin is getting dry and flaky and feeling tight from this routine

edit 8/16: i added the inkey list hyaluronic acid to bring back moisture to my face and it really helped so now my morning routine is cleanser, benzoyl peroxide cream, hyaluronic acid serum, moisturizer, and then i mix the sunscreen and olay lotion together and then my night time routine is cleaner, moisturizer, hyaluronic acid serum, differin, and moisturizer adding the hyaluronic acid has already tremendously helped with keeping my skin hydrated and it’s also a great way to fight acne with the benzoyl peroxide cream and adapalene product and helps ur skin to get used to the adapalene product much faster so i definitely recommend adding a hyaluronic acid serum to ur routine if ur experiencing dryness, tightness, and flakiness like i was

edit 11/5/2023: been a while but my skin is so clear now i added my own personal preferences such as an eye cream and stuff to target anti aging but my routine is now this morning: la-roche posay cleanser, paula’s choice benzoyl peroxide cream, the ordinary hyaluronic acid + b5 serum, the ordinary niacinamide + zinc (use it every other day), truskin vitamin c serum, the ordinary “buffet” peptide serum, la roche-posay double repair moisturizer, combination of australian gold botanical sunscreen and olay uv365 daily moisturizer cream and then my night time routine is: la roche-posay cleanser, cerave eye repair cream, the ordinary hyaluronic acid + b5 serum, differin (i use de la cruz sulfur ointment instead of this if i wanna target specific pimples and on nights i exfoliate i use paula’s choice skin perfecting 2% bha liquid exfoliant instead), cerave pm facial moisturizing lotion

@sharkymama

I had no idea benzoyl was that effective. I will be sure to get my son started on this routine. Again such valuable information! Your so appreciated🙏

@ergnasn

I used benzoyl peroxide for years when I was younger and it helped me more than any other active ingredients even though I didn't have a regular skincare, now I use a cream which has 5 % benzoyl peroxide in it instead of an expensive spot treatment and it doesn't cause any problems even though my skin is extremely sensitive and rosacea-prone. Sometimes on days when I especially feel oily, I apply it in a thin layer and wait for it to dry, then clean it with water and apply moisturizer afterwards.

@LuMonsa.27

For my acne problems, I always use Monsia products, which dry and clear them up without leaving blemishes on the skin 🤗

@spaingirl87

I wish I had all this information and these options growing up. Teens these days with moderate to mild acne will never understand the struggle we had. But I am glad to have u sharing.

@carolineandrews4233

I bought the products for my 18 year old son who was having a breakout. We are seeing results within 24 hours!!

@stacianne7436

I have learned so much from your videos and have adapted many recommendations into my daily routine. I was needing recommendations for my teen sons for a acne routine for them, they have mild acne.

@TheYoungs1

I started following her recommendation this video, and I’m already noticing good results!

@alexpaulartist94

I have been using Benzoyl Peroxide for a week and it feels so amazing ! Already ! Wash with Plain water and Benzoyl Peroxide 2.5 gel and Moisturizer and a sunscreen on the top of its working so good on my skin within a week itself! I can feel it working!

@jameskaiser6837

Love this video!
I recently started accutane and was told NOT to use any other form of acne treatment while on it. I wanted to see what your thoughts were and if there’s a skin care routine I can follow while on accutane and expected to get really dry skin…thank you!!! Your videos have been a game changer for sure 🙌🏼

@laural9245

You laid this out beautifully, thank you! Really appreciate this. XX
