Official petition to see Rory and Taylor Take a CBT and maybe get their licenses?
we need an Autoalex + BaronVonGrumble colab in either a motovlog or a podcast!!! he loves bikes AND cars so would be awesome to see him interact with Taylor and Rory too
Growing up rural with a 10 mile commute to school, my CBT was freedom itself. And that feeling is addictive.
You are bang on about waiting until you’re a bit older, I waited until I was 26 and had my first child before doing my cbt-DAS and I am so glad I waited. I would probably not be here right now if I’d done it when I was 18.
I have a 100k 1999 Fazer 600 that I bought for £300, £65 full comp insurance with 12months mot new tyres and chain and sprocket. It’s a shit box on 2 wheels but it’s extremely reliable and there’s nothing better than going out for a ride. It’s only a toy I don’t really need a bike but it’s a great release.
I passed my big bike test in July 2019 and bought a gsxf 650 as my 1st bike but came off it at very low speed at a junction, no injuries and no real damage but it knocked my confidence right out of me and I've been scared of it since, seeing this video makes me want to take it out the garage and try again
alex being a new dad also alex instantly: lets ride my 200hp supersport 😂
Motorcycles are such great fun regardless of size and power. I've had everything from 50cc scooters to 2300cc power cruisers in the 21 years I've been riding on the road (currently 37) and have loved them all. I'm currently on holiday in Devon on my Moto Guzzi V7 850 and am loving it.
Passed my full A license mod 2 today, so this is great timing!
I used to commute from Dover to East London for about 10 years, on VFRs. Can concur, it's a lot of fun. Even in mid Winter, it still beats being stuck in a car.
More of this please.
Been riding for 17 years. Moved to the UK a month and a half ago. Already registered for an IAM advanced motorcycle rider course. I love riding, so i want to get home after each trip, to plan the next one. Everyone should do an advanced riding course, it makes you a safer rider. And it also helps with insurance, so it kinda pays for itself in more ways than one.
Bit naughty squeezing through on that bridge there, even the oncoming car flashed you. Ride safe... side note i have my theory test next week, then direct access straight after.
2:10 I didnt know alex speaks french
Yes, I had mine for 10years and done 30k miles on it. Engine blew up at 10k and bmw replaced it for free. I got full ohlins on it and aftermarket quick shifter. I have a 45t rear on it, makes it much easier on slower roads. I had it on 6th gear 14k rpm doing xxx mph. There is no feeling like it. It’s more comfortable than rivals as bars are 2-3 inches closer (rider is forward )
Im a fossil like alex and ive had my bike licence for over 26 years. I stopped riding bikes when i hit 30 and watching this made me remember the adrenaline rush a bike gave me. it always put a smile on my face.
Alex doing 100+ in a 60, also Alex "if you want to ride like a bellend, take it to the track" 😂
