They will never, ever upgrade the base iPhone's display to 120 Hz because they have named that "feature" "Promotion display". It has the word "Pro" in it and will never be included in the base models as a result. I am, and always will be very happy with my Samsung.

It seems Apple had lot of Pro motion screen that didn't pass validation and were reused into 60Hz. Wow... Courageous move for 500$ dollar.. wait... It's over 900$ for 256GB.

My real issue is how up-your-own-ass Apple is with constantly calling a phone with such outdated features a “breakthrough”/“innovation”/“*insert other pretentious buzzword”. Non-Pro iPhones (technically most other phone brands too) have only really been around to give people the illusion of affordability. For what should’ve been the Pro’s price, you’re getting this gimped nonsense which probably costed not that much less to manufacture anyway
