Not only are you running these long distances with everything that comes along with that, but you're also filming it all and at the same time planning what you want to include in the final video. I see you as a really good athlete and equally good content creator with an artistic sense of blending together clips, music, voiceovers and the overall pace of the video. My favorite video of yours is the Mont Blanc 2022. What I want to say is that I'm glad I found your channel. :-)
I grew up in Flagstaff and have hiked some of these trails before. It’s just mind blowing to see you guys running them this fast! I just can’t even fathom. Just going down and up Bright Angel used to kill me! The canyon can be so brutal… cold, heat, elevation. You guys make it look like a Sunday morning park stroll! It’s NUTS! Love it! Thanks for all the beautiful footage bringing me home to my roots! (Started watching your videos because my brother is currently hiking Torres del Paine O trek and sent me your video so I could follow along and see what he was seeing. So thanks for that as well!)
Best running videos on YouTube by far nobody come close, great footage and editing .
Trail runners constantly astound me. 11 hours!?! Then finishing out with a beer. That's so wild
impeccably shot, narrated, and edited
"let's run a marathon and THEN climb out of the Grand Canyon" - you guys are amazing and an absolute inspiration! I'll (hopefully) hike the whole East and West Tonto Trail and some additional miles next year in April!
Wonderful doc. Every time I'm tempted to make content that caters to the algorithm, I watch these and am reminded that it's not about that. It's about sharing the authentic experience with people.
Thanks!
Love it. Great to relive these trips in full length now that winter and darkness are upon us.
Thanks for posting as always Jeff. These videos are so high quality and love the commentary over the terrain
It's all about suffering in beautiful places! Amazing video as always
When you release a video I like before I watch :)
Perfect music accompaniment
Hi Jeff. Amazing video as always. Thanks. The music is perfect. What a fantastic place for running!!! I hope someday go there and run.
nice video jeff. Imagine if there had been a bad*** running indian tribe like the one down in copper canyon.
Banger after banger, thank you Jeff yet again!
Spectacular! Great choices of music too....really fit with the scenery.
Now that I'm an old man and can't quite run the full one day R2R2R anymore (did it 6 times), am always looking for alternatives. This seems like a cool idea. I've run the corridor Tonto and some of the eastern Tonto by Grandview but not the Hermit to BA section. Years ago, I checked out about the first mile of Hermit and it was just all loose rocks and didn't look runable so I dismissed the idea of running it but it looks like from your footage it clears up further down.
Good that you took Valteri Bottas on you run 4:12
