This was very helpful! My wait time was more like 5 minutes. I work remote 4 days and one in the office, and use the same computer. I have several offline hard drives when working remotely. Now launch takes 5 seconds. Thanks!

W O W ! Thanks. Seems like most users (at least civilians like me) wouldn't have attached storage so maybe unchecked by default would be best. People who use that configuration would probably know to check that setting.

Thanks for the vid. I recall there's being one big update that brought load times considerably. Was something they were proud of and announced as being a time saver. At that time it'd gone from about 18+ secs to 8. Then sometime along the way it crept back up in loadig time. Your fix brought me down to 10 secs, an improvement.

That did it for me. Thank you! I had you all beat with about 1-2 minutes loading AFTER the recent updates. I thought it might be Adobe CC messing in the background but applying your solution solved the issue. I went from (let average it) 1 minute to about 10 seconds! I'm just curious: Maybe you could share how you figured out it was that setting? Did you contact BM , find it on a forum or just check boxes randomly until it worked? It's not something the average user would think about.

What does that setting actually do however? I don't mind changing the setting, but having a true understanding of what that setting does in each state could be greatly beneficial. Cheers and thank you!!
