I think a car like this would be ideal for me. One big problem I have with it is I'm in a wheelchair and I don't want to have to fold down the rear seats to get my chair in the back. If the cargo space had a bit more floor area without folding the rear seats, it could work for me.
As a former owner of a Cadillac DHS, a Mazda RX8, and a Mazda CX5 all with leather seats, I can tell you leather seats are cold in the winter and hot in the summer and not well suited if you are loading dogs in and out of your car. Okay the Caddy did have heated and cooled seats and were cushioned like a Lazyboy recliner... Cloth seats are actually far more practical. Subaru has always been about practicality. I love our new 2025 Crosstrek Premium.
Man I wish someone make a YouTube poop of Zach and make him say I am 5foot I am a small guy and then the video just ends after it would be super funny
Can not stand the Subaru infotainment system. And get AC controls out of the screen.
Not a fan of the giant screen.
Subaru's Premium trim is usually the sweet spot of value and features. Crosstreks are nice cars and Subaru's best-selling model, though the 2.0L is underpowered. The screen is the same as the one in my Outback and I find it perfectly functional. I don't mind the A/C controls being on the screen because I leave it on auto. I prefer cloth seats so that's not a minus for me.
Crosstrek premium has never had leather/startex.
The in-screen HVAC is one of the worst things about this company’s cars.
Thank you for all the reviews! I still chuckle manufacturers put paddle shifters and "manual" mode on a CVT.
They replaced the hand brake with an electronic parking brake and didn't even use the space to pass the Big Friggin' Bottle Test. What's up with that? "Bad Subaru. No!"
Good Subaru
Your rant about the seats is ill informed. The Premium trim level has never had leather seats.
It's a nice car (or crossover), but the design and interior look very dated. At least it's less expensive than the Toyota/Honda offerings.
2.5 liter engines are becoming obsolete, why not move to a bigger 4 cylinder displacement.
