15:45 dev duping is likely banned because it's pretty common for leaderboards to ban glitches if they're just outright developer tools, I was in the undertale yellow speedrunning community for a while and during the final boss of neutral it was found that some dev keybinds such as a keybind to literally change what turn you're on were still in the game, if they stayed in the run would've been cut down by like 5 minutes

Im a part of a very niche community for a game called "My Putrid Ponies" and the speedrun for it happened a little differently: 1. Shotgunless - a major part of the game is collecting a shotgun, so we wanted to know can you beat it without the shotgun? Originally there was no speedrunning intent at all and we were just having some fun with the game. 2. Jumping? - Jumping into certain walls allowed you to run up them, skipping the ending puzzle of the game. 3. SPEED - holding A and W or D and W and running sideways ment that nothing could catch you, so you could litterally "speed run" the entire game. 4. Who needs mazes? - The only hurdle was the maze in the middle of the game. Found you can jump up its walls and go ontop of it - saving like 1 second. The overall time went from like 20 minutes for a playthrough to 1:58. I wouldn't really call it a "speedrun" though as it may have only been ME doing it, but I think it still counts.

I absolutely support you playing Undertale however you want to even if the community gets mad. Sure, the game guides players towards a particular play style… but the beauty of it is you choose how to do it. And you can always go back and play it differently later…
