@joycefuller9177

Awesome to see old equipment start up and still work.

@jackkilduff6618

Those excavators sound better than most of the stuff at the auctions. Good pins and bushings.

@BensHalloween

Beautiful old Liebherr R 972!!! What a find! :face-blue-wide-eyes:

@mastersarge5488

Love these videos. Between you and Diesel Creek, it's the best 'bring them back to life' videos.

@rogerdalebone

After 10 years that thing started right up. Amazing!

@BeytekinConstructionMachinery

Interesting fact: US cab is yellow, European cab version is white. I love the Liebherr R's two series of 952, 962, 972 and 982 with the ribbed engine compartment door on the right side. :face-red-heart-shape: That guy loved European machines, eh?!

@Todd.Roberts

You canโ€™t beat that old iron . No fancy electronics and no def . Just raw power

@stumphole8217

ol Doc! my dad was his mechanic. he put a pair of glasses on me when I was in second grade and I saw the world for the first time. good man!

@Machines.In.Action

14:38 - Nothing beats the sound of an old diesel waking up after years of hibernation! ๐Ÿฆ–

@rodneystewart8958

A couple grand in hoses and you might have a decent yard machine

@Vickie-Bligh

Looks like you both had a ton of fun. Nice to see the old machines running again.

@bobferranti5222

Holy cow, that started up so fast! I love the pre-emissions/non-electronic equipment, it always works even if it takes a bit of coaxing to wake it up. You forgot to say "Timber" when you knocked down that little tree lol.

@rodneystewart8958

Time to call Donny to load it up

@jimmyfoster8944

Chris can help himself get him around trees and he has to drop one

@tod1840

Chris, I think its time to invest in a hose crimping machine for the service truck or at least at the farm. It'll make it easier to bring all these goodies back! I'd love to hear some more stories from this gentleman.

@clivehorridge

Back in the 70s and 80s I was on Site working between these types of equipment (not an operator), building the UKs motorway network.
Itโ€™s fantastic to see these firing up 50 or so years later, standing waiting for a job!
Surprised the mice hadnโ€™t eaten all the wiring!
Iโ€™m 72 this June, and these videos warm my heart. โค

@RonaldHarmonUSA

Here we go somebody take Chris's CHECK BOOK ๐Ÿคฃ

@SEFI_Swiss

Chris, that's not a question. The 972 is an old machine, but the good thing is that it's a Liebherr. I love these machines!

@papatomsthoughts

Awesome machine, I love the old owner. So cool. ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š

@TrevorDennis100

Right after that big engine started running, I suddenly realised I had a huge smile on my face. I am not sure if was the pleasure of seeing how quickly it started, or reaction to Robert big smile, and what sounded like a smile from Chris. That old girl has got some work left in her, and well worth investing in a few hoses. I'm only @15:00 mark, so I am hoping we don't see it turn to custard by the end of the video.
